Grand Prairie got their own minor league ballteam this year called the Airhogs. Meme and Pa bought season tickets so we have been several times. Makinley and Morgan love it! Morgan caught 2 balls this season (Tucker, the catcher, rolled them across the dugout to her), and we all have Airhogs shirts, along with other merchandise. Minor league ball is really relaxed and fun. It is very hometown, which makes us love it even more.
The Airhogs mascot is Bacon. Bacon is a hog dressed in a fighter pilot suit. (Airhogs have something to do with pilots that used to be stationed at the naval air base in Grand Prairie) The girls love that he walks on the dugout right in front of us. They holler at him everytime he goes by. He always gets a kiss on the nose or a high five.
Tonight the Hogs played the Ft. Worth Cats in the playoffs. It was a great game and the Hogs won which means, The Grand Prairie Airhogs are the South Division Champs!!!
What a great night to be at the game! It's fun to watch a ball club that actually wins! Sorry Rangers...
Here's a shout out to Meme and Pa who hooked us up with the Airhogs tickets this season! We had a great time eating hotdogs and nachos, begging players for a ball, dancing to the wild music, dodging the "kiss cam", playing in the World of Parks, and most of all yelling, "GO HOGS GO!"

You are right, these games were too much fun. Pa and I loved every minute of it. The hogs won one of the first two games of the next round. Now they are headed north for the next three games. Maybe they'll win the American League Championship! Don't forget they are having a Fall/Halloween Fun Fest at the Air Hog Stadium. Sounds like great fun. See you there.........Love MEME
