Destin in a nutshell

Ok, so I have not done a great job at blogging this summer! I started blogging on our vacation in Destin, but after the first day our wireless service was just not working well and I just couldn't get my blogs to save. Those of you who blog know that there is nothing worse than typing an entire blog, just to have it disappear!
Our vacation to Destin was a blast! We enjoyed every minute with each other and with the Bryant's. We went to the beach and the pool everyday, the guys went deep sea fishing, we went to the board walk at night, we fed the gators at Fudpuckers, and much much more. We did make the mistake of waiting until the last night to take pictures on the beach. ( I know Sarah, you would NEVER have done that!) The problem was that a tropical storm was due in the next day so there was a chance of rain that Friday night. So we hurried to get dressed and ready and run across to the beach so we could get the "perfect" beach family picture, as well as a group picture of all of us. Once we got there we had 5 minutes to snap as many pictures as we could before it poured! We took off running to the restaurant on the beach that was about 30 yards away. Our feet had no more touched the patio, and it stopped raining! So, it rained long enough to get us all wet, to where we couldn't take anymore pictures, and then it stopped and didn't rain another drop! Luckily, we got a few good pictures, but never got the group picture we wanted...oh well, next time!
