Fun Times!

Saturday we just hung out around the house most of the day. We had talked about going to a pumpkin patch or something but by the time we got out, everything was closed. So we headed for Grapevine Mills for a little "bungie jumping"! In the mall they have a kid bungie that we found this summer when we went with my sister in law, Sarah, and my nephew, Clayton. All of the kids did it and had a blast. My girls ask every weekend if we can go back and jump again. At $6 a piece, it is cheap entertainment, and it makes a great story!
Makinley went first and decided to try a few flips. She did great! She is a very serious jumper though. By looking at the pictures you would think that we talked her into it, but it was all her idea!!!


Morgan on the otherhand, giggled the entire time! She kept saying that it was tickling her tummy. Morgan is very guarded, but when she wants to be she is quite the dare devil!!!




Today Corey had a golf game so my friend Wendy and I decided to take the kids to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch. WOW! I wasn't expecting it to be so popular, however I could see why. If you haven't been it is great! Everything is free...jumphouses, slides, hay rides, train rides. You do pay for the pumpkins, but they have fields to walk through and choose from. They also provide wagons to transport the pumpkins to the car! (A perk when there are 2 adults and 4 children!!!) The kids had so much fun and it was a beautiful day. We did make them pose for a few pictures, of course! We paid them off with kettle corn... we called it "popcorn for pictures". Nothing wrong with a little bribe right?!?!?! What a fun day!
