What is it with these kids getting older and bigger every year?! I am not a fan! Not only does it seem impossible for Makinley to be 9, it seems equally impossible for ME to have a 9 year old! Well, Makinley decided that she definitely wanted to have her party at the natatorium (I am so blessed to have kids who love the water as much as I do!), so that is what we did. She had tons of family and lots of friends from church and school come to help her celebrate. Lindsey made some fantastic "beachy" cupcakes which were specially ordered by the birthday girl herself. Everything turned out perfect, even if Corey and I threw everything together on the day of the party! Shhh! Don't tell:)
