Christmas @ Holly Lake

The weekend before Christmas, we went to Holly Lake to have Christmas with my parents and Wade, Sarah, Clayton and Drew. We don't all get to be together much so it was a fun time for all. Luckily it was good weather, cold but good, so Makinley could ride her new bike:)

Mamaw gave Makinley and Morgan the Ace of Cakes kit so of course we had to test it out. Really it makes more of a cupcake! But none the less it was an afternoon of fun!

Christmas Pie anyone??? This tradiditon has been going on for many years. We all bring small dollar type gifts and wrap them and put them under a "pie crust". Everyone takes a turn drawing a gift from out of the pie. This year the kids just had pie. Each year everyone leaves a message on the back of the "pie".
